Eating the same thing every week gets old fast. That's why Meal Fresh runs four menus that rotate, so you get something different every week of the month.
How the rotation works
Each week one menu is open for ordering: Week 1, then Week 2, Week 3 and Week 4, and then it starts again. Each menu has around 10 mains, plus soups and desserts. Our home page shows which week is open right now and how long you have to order.
A taste of each week
- Week 1: Italian chicken cacciatore, Japanese sesame soy-glazed salmon, Vietnamese caramelised fish (cá kho)
- Week 2: Chicken parmigiana, Moroccan spiced lamb stew, Vietnamese pork and egg stew (thịt kho)
- Week 3: Indian roasted curry fish, slow-roasted lamb, Vietnamese chicken curry
- Week 4: Spanish chicken and chorizo paella, lamb shepherd's pie, Vietnamese beef stew (bò kho)
Something for every diet
Every week includes bland, low-salt versions of our mains and soups, plus gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options. Look for the tags on each dish.
Why familiar food matters
For many older people, especially those from Vietnamese and other migrant communities, a familiar dish brings back appetite, comfort and a sense of home. Our menu mixes those favourites with Australian and European classics, so everyone at the table finds something they love.
